Drag elements from the bottom menu into the crafting area in Element Merge. Place them directly on top of each other to combine them and try to form new elements. You can tell if a combination will work because the elements will turn green when they are hovering over each other.

Some recipes require you to merge 3 elements. To do this, place the first two next to each other, but not overlapping. Then place the third element between those two so that it overlaps both of them.

Some recipes also require 2 or even 3 of the same element.

If you need a nudge, press the list button to see all the recipes you can currently make with the elements you have available. If you are still stuck, you can press the hint button to watch an ad. After the ad, you'll see the recipes filled in with the most common element.

If your crafting area gets messy, press the clear button to clean it up.
